Meet Melissa

Melissa is an accomplished Director of Business Development at Connected Approach, driving growth and expanding our client base. She excels at optimizing business strategies and marketing initiatives to meet client needs. Known for her strategic insights and exceptional marketing skills, Melissa significantly enhances our team’s performance and client satisfaction. Her ability to align organizational goals with effective strategies consistently delivers exceptional results, making her a vital asset to Connected Approach.  Melissa brings a wealth of experience from her previous leadership roles in sales & marketing at prominent organizations, including Pfizer, Biohaven Pharmaceuticals, and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIPI).

 In addition to Melissa’s expertise in business development, she has significant professional experience in training and leadership development.

 As a trainer, Melissa worked as a manager of product training at BIPI, where she trained pharmaceutical professionals on competitive response, new product launch processes, and Plans of Action.  She is a Certified Field Trainer through BIPI and holds a PrimeTime Trainers Certification, underscoring her commitment to excellence in training and facilitation. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and is a graduate of several corporate leadership development programs, including the BIPI Management Development Program through the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Pfizer’s Leadership Edge Program through the McChrystal Group, Her New Standard ACCELERATE Women’s Leadership Program, and Women Unlimited, Inc.’s LEAD Program. 

 Beyond her corporate achievements, she is passionate about wellness and fitness. Melissa is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance, and previously owned a successful Yoga Studio in Newtown, CT.  This unique blend of skills and experiences allows Melissa to bring a holistic approach to her work, benefiting both her clients and her team.
